I just purchased Video Poker Pro and am pleased with a number of it's features. However, the playing speed is a major disappointment. I have used a stop watch to measure the time to deal a hand in the 3 modes provided. I got 7.26 secs for Slow, 7.19 secs for Normal and 7.15 secs for "Fast" (on a Compaq iPaq 3765). This is PAINFULLY SLOW! While the graphics are impressive at first, they only get in the way of someone who actually wants to play Video Poker!

I believe that, rather than the Slow/Normal/Fast option, a better solution would be an option to turn off the "dealing hands" graphics, so that the cards would appear immediately. And if the users selects that option, also speed up the results display (the up-scrolling result line is also an irritating waste of time).

I've seen in other posts that one of your main goals is to make the gaming experience as much like being in a Casino as possible. Please consider the fact that no casino operator in the world would permit a game that runs as slow as this one in their casino.

Thanks for your consideration.

The perception of fast and slow is entirely subjective and I have never had the feeling that the game flow is too slow. The game has been designed with the animations and that particular game speed in mind and we have no plans of making any changes to it, I am afraid.
